Canonical will shift their default Ubuntu desktop back to GNOME

Mark Shuttleworth annonced at ubuntu insights that they will end their investment in Unity8.

The announcement was strong that they will focus more on IoT and cloud.

Mark also said that they will deliver it as free software.

We think this is the right choice, most of us switched to ther linux distro after unity was the default desktop environment.
