Warning: Malware and other unwanted actions can be done on your system files after disabling SIP protection. Make sure you understand this before you continue.

Follow these steps to disable System Integrity Protection (SIP):

  1. Restart your Mac.

  2. While computer starts Hold down Command-R. Release.

  3. Go to Utilities menu, then select Terminal.

  4. Execute from the terminal csrutil disable.

  5. From the menu, select Restart.

If you want to enable SIP you will need to enter again into recovery mode and execute csrutil enable.
